New Zealand’s best up and coming male group, straight out of high school, the 44z are breathing life back into Barber Shop. First formed in 2003 while still at school the 44z went on to become the Auckland Secondary School Barber Shop Champions in 2006 and were placed second over all in NZ. More than just a singing group the 44z are all individually talented musicians with 3 of the 4 members currently studying music at Auckland University and accomplished song writers with debut songs soon to be released. The 44z are made up of Tau Toleafoa, Mosese Angitoa, Faalilo Asiata, Manehunga Ropeti-Iupeli. 2007 The 44z played to a sold Auckland Town Hall Amnesty Concert. 24th May 2008 NZ Music Month- performed at The Manukau Super Strike 24th May- Live studio on air performance –Radio Asia Pacific 12th July exclusive performance from The 44z at the Manukau Super Strike. |
