Christine Jakefield is a brand new emerging artist.
Straight out of school 18 year old Christine Jakefield is an amazing singer song writer and talented performer and singer.
She has a fresh new sound that represents both NZ and the Pacific.

Christine has also been selected to be part of a concert organized by Radio Asia Pacific with the plans to take the show to China once opened in Auckland- as they see her potential and want to be associated with a great new emerging talent.

Christine has recently performed at this years- 2008 Wine and Food Festival at Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour.

Radio stations have scheduled on air interviews with Christine as her interest and population grows within the industry.

Christine is also working on her debut music video ready for release late this year.

Christine is currently studying music as her minor towards her degree at Auckland University.

Christine has written and performed all of the following four songs all while still a student in 2007.

In 2007 Christine (who was also Deputy Head girl) was selected to be part of a select group called the “Super 12” who traveled to Tonga where she toured and performed her original work as well as writing new material while on tour. (Track four “Real You” was written in Tonga at the end of 2007)
In 2006 Christine entered Play it Strange.

Her major influences are Brooke Fraser, Delta Goodrem and Anika Moa.
